What better way to celebrate than with champagne and cupcakes?
The Covestro Center for Community Engagement launched with its new name (formerly the Covestro Institute for Engagement) in April and invited partners together on October 4, 2018. The location it shares with the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management within RMU downtown amplifies the work of Robert Morris University in the business and nonprofit sectors.
The renewed purpose of the Center? To bridge corporate social purpose, nonprofit mission, and strong communities. It brings our area’s greatest resources – our people – together by facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships where we live, work, and play.
Rebecca Lucore, Head of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, Covestro LLC, and Peggy Outon, Assistant Vice President for Community Engagement and Leadership Development, RMU, shared the evening with dozens of the Center’s friends and family.
