BW! Champions

BoardsWork! Builds Stronger Boards

The BoardsWork! (BW!) program enhances board governance within our region’s nonprofit sector.

We train service-minded individuals in effective nonprofit governance and match them to boards through customized placement. Organizations become better equipped to carry out their missions with new, diverse individuals and skill sets.

Nonprofit BW! award agencies receive an individualized governance assessment, a customized, half-day board retreat, and up to two newly trained board members annually. In addition, BoardsWork! board members receive discounts on nonprofit management classes. CCCE nonprofits receive invitations to exclusive CCCE events, ongoing support from CCCE, and widespread exposure through various media outlets.

Become a BoardsWork! Champion

As a BW! Champion, you ensure that nonprofits can take part in this meaningful program (at a minimal cost) that focuses on effective board governance. Benefits include:

BoardsWork! Champion – $12,500
Support for 10 organizations to become BW! Award Agencies
Listing as BoardsWork! Champion in all CCCE marketing materials
Invitations to exclusive CCCE events
Annual CCCE snapshot report

If your foundation would like to make an even greater impact on the local nonprofit sector, consider becoming a CCCE Champion:
